A music video designed to show the fustration of the youth throughout different eras of modern history.
project process
This project was a multi-location music video production for Derrick Nenzo, designed to showcase the full scale and capability of our production process. Working with a medium-sized film crew across multiple studio and location setups, the goal was to create a visually polished piece that delivered a cinematic, high-production aesthetic while maintaining an authentic and energetic feel. Lighting played a major role in shaping the overall visual identity of the video. Using professional fixtures including ARRI SkyPanels and Razyr studio lights, we carefully crafted each scene to achieve a clean, cinematic look. ARRI SkyPanels are widely used in film production for their soft, controllable light output and colour accuracy, making them a staple in high-end cinematography workflows. Alongside studio lighting, we maximised the use of natural light and bounce boards to add depth, texture, and dimension to the imagery, helping the visuals feel dynamic without becoming overly artificial. Set design was another key aspect of the production. Attention to detail within each environment helped create an authentic atmosphere that elevated the project beyond the look of a typical low-budget music video. Every location and setup was intentionally styled to support the tone of the track and strengthen the artist’s visual identity. The production required careful coordination between camera, lighting, and art direction departments to maintain consistency across multiple locations while working efficiently within the shoot schedule. In post-production, the footage was refined through colour grading and pacing choices that enhanced the cinematic feel and tied the visual narrative together. This project highlights our ability to work within a larger production environment, combining cinematic lighting, collaborative filmmaking, and strong visual storytelling to deliver a professional music video with a high-end commercial aesthetic.
